SHARED MERGER COORDINATOR

Cayuga-Syracuse and Susquehanna Valley Presbyteries (Upstate NY & Catskill Region) are searching for a Shared Merger Coordinator.

This is a one-year, part-time contract position to guide the merger of two presbyteries into a unified body. The Coordinator will help manage timelines, committees, communication, and the relational, fiscal, ecclesiastical, and legal components of the merger.

Responsibilities include supporting presbytery leaders; assisting treasurers with financial integration; coordinating with Stated Clerks and Synod leadership toward required approval milestones; and partnering with attorneys on necessary New York State filings.

The successful candidate will be organized, collaborative, familiar with Presbyterian polity, and comfortable working with financial and legal processes.

Compensation is commensurate with experience, with travel and professional allowances provided.
